The Witness Watch by Hay HEUN
July 29, 2009
The concept of the strange kind, intended for those who hates to wear standard watch.
The novelty can look as improbably stylish watch, but it has precisely borrowed something from an older technology. This watch reminds an old sundial. For certain many people cannot understand time on such watch at all. For those who cannot understand time in a sundial, it is necessary to study even before purchase of such device.

The watch has been developed by the person by name Hay Heun. The figure exhibited on the watch is actually copy of the shadow created on the sun dial throughout the day by the movement of the sun. Witness is a concept timepiece that was built to demonstrate the unavoidable relationship between the eyes and the time has been totally inspired by the human eye. The two bright red LED rings that you see are replicates of the pupil and the iris. They move in synchronized motions to depict the time. It also has a power saving mode. The power button on the side will power it up and light up the display for five seconds, then shifting it to standby mode thus using only 35% of LED power. Like eyes that witness the transitions of times, the Witness Watch watches moments slip by.
